How do these lamps purify the air? The burning of the fuel through the catalytic stone releases both ozone and anions into the room. These purify the air and remove odours from your home or office. Do I need to replace my burner stone? The burner stone should last from six to twelve months depending on usage. How much fuel does an Alexandria Lamp use? 1. Add Fragrance Remove the cap and fill your lamp 2/3rds full with Alexandria's fragrance or aromatheraphy. 2. Soak The Wick Insert wick & burner into the lamp. Replace cap and let the wick soak for twenty minutes. 3. Light The Burner After soaking, remove the cap and light the burner. Allow the lamp to burn for two minutes. 4. Stop Burning After two minutes of burning, blow out the flame. 5. Finishing Touches Replace the decorative shade. The lamp is now functioning as it should. 6.
